Overview of the Warranty

Comsri Corporation is dedicated to providing high-quality refurbished products that meet your expectations. This warranty policy outlines the terms and conditions under which Comsri Corporation offers warranty service for its refurbished hardware products and accessories.

Please Note:
This warranty applies only to products purchased directly from Comsri Corporation’s official website or physical store. Products purchased from any third-party platforms or resellers are not covered under this warranty. For such purchases, please refer to the warranty policy of the respective seller or marketplace.

Important:
This warranty is offered by Comsri Corporation and not by the original manufacturer (such as Dell, HP, Lenovo, Apple, etc.). Manufacturer warranties are not applicable on refurbished products sold by Comsri Corporation.

Warranty Period

Standard Policy
  1. For All Products Except Apple:
    Standard warranty is valid for 1 year from the original purchase date.

  2. For Apple Products:
    Warranty is valid for 6 months from the original purchase date.

Extended Warranty
  1. Customers may choose to purchase an extended warranty for up to 2 years.
    The extended warranty will begin immediately after the standard warranty period ends.

What Is Covered by This Warranty?

Defects in Materials and Workmanship

Comsri Corporation warrants that its refurbished products and included accessories are free from defects in materials and workmanship when used normally in accordance with Comsri’s published guidelines (technical specifications, user manuals, and service communications).

Covered Hardware Components

This warranty covers all major hardware components, including:

  • Display / Screen

  • Keyboard

  • Hard Drive and Memory (RAM)

Comsri Corporation will repair or replace defective parts that fail under normal use during the warranty period.

What Is Not Covered by This Warranty?

Third-Party Accessories

This warranty does not cover third-party accessories or components used with the refurbished product, even if purchased from Comsri Corporation.

Software

Any software, operating system, or pre-installed applications are not covered under this warranty. Please refer to the applicable software licensing agreements for your rights and obligations.

Other Exclusions

This warranty does not apply to:

  1. Consumable parts like batteries (unless the defect is due to materials/workmanship).

  2. Cosmetic damage such as scratches, dents, or cracked ports.

  3. Damage from the use of unauthorized or incompatible components.

  4. Damage from accidents, liquid spills, fire, misuse, or negligence.

  5. Damage caused by unauthorized repairs, modifications, or upgrades.

  6. Normal wear and tear due to aging.

  7. Products with removed, tampered, or defaced serial numbers.

  8. Devices reported as stolen or with inaccessible locks (e.g., password or BIOS lock).

Your Responsibilities

Data Backup

Customers are responsible for backing up their data. Comsri Corporation will not be responsible for data loss during repair or replacement service.

Proof of Purchase

To claim warranty service, you must provide:

  • Proof of purchase (invoice or receipt)

  • Product details and serial number

  • Description of the issue

How to Obtain Warranty Service

Step 1: Contact Support
  • Reach out to our support team via the Contact Us page or email us at support@comsricorporation.com with details of the issue and proof of purchase.

Step 2: Remote Assistance
  • Our technical team will attempt to resolve the issue remotely within 24–48 hours through troubleshooting or remote diagnosis.

Step 3: Onsite/Service Center Visit
  • Within 5–6 working days, our service engineer may visit your location (if applicable) or guide you to the nearest authorized service partner.

Step 4: Product Inspection
  • If required, Comsri may request pickup or ask you to ship the product to our service facility for inspection and repair.

Step 5: Refund
  • In rare cases where a refund is approved, it will be processed to your original payment method, adjusted for depreciation value as per company policy.

Shipping and Handling

Shipping Costs
  • If the issue is covered under warranty, Comsri Corporation will bear the shipping charges.

  • If the issue is found to be non-warranty-related, the customer may bear the shipping costs.

Packaging
  • Products must be packed securely before return. Comsri Corporation is not responsible for damage due to poor packaging during transit.

Limitation of Liability

  1. Comsri Corporation does not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation of refurbished products.

  2. The warranty only covers hardware defects and not software issues, user errors, or other non-hardware faults.

  3. Comsri Corporation shall not be liable for:

    • Loss of data, profits, or business

    • Loss of goodwill or reputation

    • Indirect, special, or consequential damages

Decisions made by Comsri Corporation regarding warranty claims are final and binding.

Changes to the Warranty Policy

Comsri Corporation reserves the right to modify or update this warranty policy at any time without prior notice. Any changes will be posted on our official website and become effective immediately.

Service Availability and Force Majeure

Warranty service is subject to parts availability and service center capabilities.
Delays may occur due to supply chain issues, natural disasters, strikes, or other circumstances beyond Comsri’s control.

Transferability of Warranty

This warranty is non-transferable and applies only to the original purchaser of the refurbished product. Any resale or ownership transfer voids the warranty.

Conduct and Professionalism

Comsri Corporation is committed to maintaining a respectful environment.
Customers must treat our staff courteously; abusive or threatening behavior may result in limitation of services.
Likewise, Comsri employees are expected to maintain professionalism at all times.
Any misconduct from either side should be reported to info@comsricorporation.com for appropriate action.

Governing Law and Jurisdiction

  1. This warranty is governed by the laws of India.

  2. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Mumbai, Maharashtra.

Service Options

At Comsri Corporation’s discretion, the company may:

  • Repair defective components

  • Offer a refund (after depreciation deduction)

All warranty actions will be carried out in accordance with this policy.
